Let’s not even start with Spectral Voice’s astounding return with Sparagmos, elevating themselves in the death/doom pantheon.īut, at the same time more historic acts have made a return. LVME and Hulder represent the various strains running through the black metal tradition, and both return with astounding works in their sophomore records. Pestilength dig deep into the obscure depths to unveil their primal black/death/doom brew with their third record, Solar Clorex. Utopia continue with their exhilarating velocity, elevating the technical extravagance of Stalker with Shame.
